Sodium Methyl Mercaptide (SMM)
Arkema is offering SMM 21 % grade in water supplied in ISO or drums. Arkema has also developed a SMM 33% grade to improve concentration. This grade, supplied in ISO, could thus be more competitive and sustainable limiting transport to get requested quantity of SMM delivered. SMM 21% and SMM 33% can be used for agrochemicals and pharmaceuticals synthesis as well as catalyst for bisphenol A production.
Sofibex - Sodium hypophosphite
Sodium hypophosphite (NaH2PO2) is a chemical reducer obtained from the reaction of phosphorous with caustic soda and lime. It is mainly used in electrochemical nickel plating applications, whitening agent and as catalysts in the fiber-glass industry.
Sofibex 60%
A turnkey product, we offer sodium hypophosphite under the form of ready-to-use solution. Its assay is 810g/L, meaning a 60% solution. We package this product in 1250 kg IBC.

Spotleak®, mercaptan blends for Natural Gas odorization
Arkema has developed a gas odorant line called Spotleak®; a comprehensive range of mercaptan and sulfide blends to meet the odorant needs of gas distribution companies. Spotleak® products are specially designed for odorizing natural gas or industrial gases (e.g. O2 leakage detection to reduce operating costs due to those losses, and mitigate related safety concerns -- asphyxiation, flammability, etc).
SPS® 10LS
SPS® 10LS is a water soluble sulfur additive (10% sulfur) showing excellent extreme pressure properties & designed for water miscible fluids. SPS® 10LS is compatible with synthetic and semi-synthetic fluids

Sulfonyls
Arkema has the largest sulfonyls range including MSA (methane sulfonic acid - CAS 75-75-2) and MSC (methane sulfonic chloride - CAS 124-63-0). Arkema has been manufactured methane sulfonic acid for more than 40 years, and has developed various grades adapted to customer's applications for MSA (CH3SO3H) based on its high acidity and full biodegradability. MSC (CH3SO2Cl), is a versatile, reactive chemical used in the agrochemical, pharmaceutical, photographic. It is also commonly known as mesyl chloride.
