Pebax® Elastomer Family
Pebax® thermoplastic elastomers consist of polyamide and polyether backbone blocks. These specialty elastomers offer very low material density, a wide range of shore hardness values, extremely efficient energy return (over a wide temperature range) and are optionally biobased.
Peroxal® hydrogen peroxide for specialty applications
Peroxal® grades of hydrogen peroxide are 30%, 35%, 50%, 60% and 70% hydrogen peroxide solutions that are designed for specialty applications, such as electronic, personal care, cleaning and chemical process applications.
Peroxide Pastes and Powders for Silicone Rubber Crosslinking
Retic® brand peroxide are formulated to crosslink a variety of low and high durometer silicones in food grade or industrial applications. Each grade has a very fine particle size to mix easily.
Thanks to the thermal process of combustion of phosphorous, Febex manufactures an ultra pure phosphoric acid (H3PO4) complying with food, pharmaceutical and electronic quality standards. We also produce 99% crystallized phosphoric acid as well as polyphosphoric and pyrophosphoric acid. Febex, a specialist of high purity, has created two brands, Ultrabex and Superbex which meet the requirements of the electronics industry.
Phosphoric acid - chemically pure
Our phosphoric acid is highly appreciated in the chemical industry and the polymers industry for its high quality at a standard grade. Febex is also recognized for the stability and reliability of its grade. A tailor-made service is offered to adapt to our clients’ requirements.
Phosphoric acid - crystallized 99%
Our crystallized phosphoric acid has a 99% content. It is obtained from our thermal phosphoric acid in liquid form. This grade is essentially packed in 25 or 35 kg buckets. Our product is particularly appreciated for its purity and its solid form.
Phosphoric acid - electronic grade Superbex
From the pure phosphoric acid obtained by the thermal process, Febex is capable of purifying its product to reach iron content lower than 2 ppm. The other impurity contents are also controlled during the production of Superbex, meeting thereby most of the requirements of the electronics industry (1st generation manufacturing plants), LCD and photovoltaic. Our standard packaging options are 220 L drums, IBC and bulk. Other packaging options are available on demand.
Phosphoric acid - electronic grade Ultrabex
Ultrabex is the pure phosphoric acid manufactured by Febex with four main grades having a respective iron content of 500 ppb, 200 ppb, 100 ppb and 50 ppb. The other impurities are rigorously controlled throughout the manufacturing process of Ultrabex. Our standard packaging options are 220 L drums, IBC and bulk. Febex requests you to submit your most specific requirements: our aim is to develop a tailor-made service.
Phosphoric acid - food grade
Thanks to its food grade phosphoric acid, Febex is capable of meeting the specifications of food standards. Our main strength lies in our capacity to adapt to client requirements. Our products are packed in drums, IBC and bulk. Our food grade phosphoric acid is mainly used in aroma and beverage industries which particularly appreciate our services and the stability of our phosphoric acid.
Phosphoric acid - pharma grade
An electronics expert, Febex targets the pharmaceutical industry thanks to an ultra-pure product and a management system suited to highly demanding markets. Its control over the entire value chain guarantees the stability and traceability of the finished product.
To complete its phosphorus based range, Febex developped two other materials on customer demands. We can supply tailor-made products and packaging.

Plastistrength® 530 is a very high molecular weight acrylic process aid. It offers enhanced processability for high output extrusion. This acrylic processing aid is ideal for applications such as profiles, foam pipe, foam profiles, foam sheet, wood composites and flexible vinyl.
Plastistrength® 550 is a medium molecular-weight acrylic process aid that brings enhanced processability to most rigid and flexible vinyl compounds such as siding, profile, pipe, calendered sheet and blow-molded bottles.
Plastistrength® 551 acrylic process aid is a medium molecular weight acrylic process aid. It brings enhanced processability at low use levels to most rigid and flexible vinyl compounds. This acrylic processing aid is recommended for applications like vinyl siding, profiles and calendering.
Plastistrength® 552 process aid is recommended for blends of polycarbonate and styrenics where stable morphology is very difficult to achieve. Plastistrength® 552 process aid will open the processing window and allow compounders to easily achieve high quality blend morphology necessary for high impact performance, high flow behaviour, and additives dispersion.
Plastistrength® 562 process aid is a high molecular weight acrylic process aid providing high melt strength combined with optimum PVC fusion promotion effect. It has been especially designed to improve filler dispersion in rigid PVC applications.
Plastistrength® 564 is a very high molecular weight acrylic processing aid that provides very high melt strength combined with optimum PVC fusion promotion effect. Plastistrength® 564 processing aid has been especially designed to improve filler dispersion in high filler content PVC.
Plastistrength® 566 acrylic process aid is a high molecular weight product, offering improved melt strength when used in the extrusion of cellular PVC sheet and building products, including foam-core pipe, trim board, cellular PVC sheet and signage, and foamed profiles. Plastistrength® 566 acrylic process aid allows compounders to realize increased efficiencies in usage of up to 20% when compared to standard process aids, while maintaining cell structure and density requirements.
Plastistrength® 576 acrylic process aid is an advanced high molecular weight acrylic process aid that offers outstanding melt strength, excellent melt elongation, and enhanced fusion promotion. Plastistrength® 576 acrylic process aid can be used to promote fusion in highly filled vinyl compounds or used to reduce extrusion temperature without compromising fusion performance.
Plastistrength® 580 acrylic process aid is an ultra-high molecular weight product, offering improved melt strength when used in the extrusion of cellular PVC sheet and building products, including foam-core pipe, trim board, cellular PVC sheet and signage, and foamed profiles.

Plastistrength® 770 is a lubricating acrylic process aid that provides enhanced processability from its unique metal release properties that it imparts to vinyl compounds. This lubricating acrylic process aid is recommended where good metal release from processing equipment is required. Applications include high-speed extrusion, calendering, injection molding and blow molding.
Plastistrength® Acrylic Processing Aids
Plastistrength® acrylic processing aids enhance the extrusion or injection molding performance of polymer compounds by promoting fusion, improving melt strength, eliminating surface defects, and decreasing plate out. Plastistrength® process aids also improve metal release and surface finish properties in extrusion or calendering. Vinyl compounds require less stearate, oxidized polyethylene, or paraffin wax with Plastistrength® process aids. Engineering resins like polycarbonate and its alloys gain better phase stability and easier processing with Plastistrength process aids.
Plastistrength® L1000 acrylic process aid is a highly-efficient acrylic lubricant that offers excellent benefits to PVC compounders. L1000 provides excellent metal release characteristics due to its unique lubricating properties. Even at low usage levels, users experience dramatically improved resistance to plate-out with little effect on clarity, heat stability, chemical resistance, or physical properties.
Platamid® Copolyamides are specialty thermoplastic hot melt adhesives (HMA) tailored to deliver durable, versatile and solvent-free bonding.

Polyester polyols are mainly used in a “2k system” combined with isocyanates like MDI and/or TDI to make polyurethane. The targetted advantages with these technologies are the use of few raw materials and no danger thanks to 98% solvant free products.
Polyphosphoric acid and pyrophosphoric acid
Polyphosphoric acid is a viscous liquid produced from phosphoric acid. Highly sought-after for its purity, our product is used in polymers, the pharmaceutical industry and in petrochemicals. As many uses as its varied applications, with specifications on demand.
The Polyram® surfactants are cationic quick and slow-setting (CQS and CSS) emulsifiers for bitumen.
Polythiols are compounds with several mercaptans functions. They can be used in different applications such as the preparation of adhesives and sealants or as chain transfer agents.
Polythiols may also be used as corrosion inhibitors or in cosmetics.
Potassium hypophosphite is a salt akin to sodium hypophosphite, it can be used for the same applications. Its solubility is greater and it is therefore easier to use it in solution. It thus prolongs the shelf life of baths.
Powder coatings are 100% solid systems that require no solvent. Reafree® resins allow easy formulation of low-VOC and environmentally friendly powder coatings with advanced performance characteristics.
Prochinor® are demulsifiers/emulsion breakers and desalting additives used to separate water from crude oil and meet the BS&W and salinity specifications, as well as separated water quality requirements. Prochinor® demulsifiers offer an optimum treatment of emulsions whatever the crude oil characteristics and process conditions: paraffinic, asphaltenic and naphtenic crudes and low temperature, short processing and short storage times.
Prochinor® are demulsifiers and desalting additives used to separate water from crude oil and meet the BS&W and salinity specifications, as well as separated water quality requirements. Prochinor® demulsifiers offer an optimum treatment of emulsions whatever the crude oil characteristics and process conditions: paraffinic, asphaltenic and naphtenic crudes and low temperature, short processing and short storage times. Prochinor® product range include other additives involved in water/crude oil separation too: defoamers, flocculants and paraffin dispersants/inhibitors.
Prochinor® AM are antifoam/defoamer additives. They prevent or cure foam formation in crude oil processing and storage facilities, and in gas and water treatment facilities.
There are three categories of Prochinor® AP :
- Flow improvers which reduce the viscosity of waxy crudes/condensates
- Pour point depressants (PPD) which lower the pour point to avoid gelling of the crude oil/condensate in production, processing, storage and transportation facilities and/or meet export pour point specifications
- Paraffin deposition inhibitors/dispersants to prevent paraffin deposit formation in production, processing, storage and transportation facilities
In addition to demulsifiers used in onshore or offshore production units or in refineries, the residual oil in water has to be separated in a specific effluent treatment plant using deoilers. Deoilers Prochinor ® FL can be flocculants or coagulants.
