MCure® crosslinkers for hybrid epoxy systems
A product range of reactive modifiers and diluents for two-part epoxy/amine cured systems. Due to their rapid reaction and excellent diluting effect, the MCure products can help formulators to produce low VOC systems required by specific applications overcoming the disadvantages of typical glycidyl ether diluent/modifiers.

Madquat MC 75
Madquat brings cationic charge to polymers.
Monomers and homopolymers are water-soluble.
They have a good copolymerizability with Acrylamide.
The main market is the production of cationic polyacrylamides used as flocculent for wastewater and sludge treatment, paper retention and drainage aids and wet and dry strength for paper sheet formation.
Flotation uses the ability of surfactants to interact with surface sites of specific mineral species, making them hydrophobic. The minerals are thus carried up to the surface by air bubbles.
Melioran® is a recognized anionic collector for reverse flotation of phosphates, used for calcium carbonate removal from francolite.
Mesityl oxide (MO) is a α-unsaturated ketone. It is mainly used in fine chemistry in the synthesis of vitamins, flavour and fragrances. It is also an intermediate in the synthesis of MIBK, MIBC and DIBK. MO can be a used as a solvent in inks, coating or agrochemicals.
Methane Sulfonic Acid (MSA 70%)
MSA 70% (Methane Sulfonic Acid - CAS 75-75-2) is a strong acid widely used as a catalyst (esterification, alkylation, etc.). Thanks to its versatility, MSA 70% is a viable substitute for organic and inorganic strong acids in a variety of applications.
Methane Sulfonic Acid Anhydrous (AMSA or MSAA)
Arkema AMSA (methane sulfonic acid anhydrous - CAS 75-75-2) enjoys wide use in the pharmaceutical industry due to its high acidity and high miscibility in aqueous and most organic media. Its uses include:
- formation of pharmacologically acceptable API salts
- extraction, crystallization and purification of synthetic intermediates
- synthetic raw material
- acid catalyst, particularly for formation and removal of protecting groups
- dehydrating reaction solvent
AMSA is a strong organic acid (pKa-1.92). As such, it is highly corrosive in its acid form.
Methylacrylate is a colorless liquid above its freezing point of -75°C ( -103°F). Its homopolymer glass transition temperature is 10°C (51°F).
It can be polymerized with each other and copolymerized with other monomers to produce polymers having the optimal properties for your application.
MIBC (Methylisobutylcarbinol) is a colorless liquid C6 branched alcohol. It is used in the synthesis of lub oil addtives (ZDDP) for anti-wear and anti-corrosion. It is also commonly used as a large range flotation frother in copper (polymetallic) and coal minings. MIBC can also be used in coatings or fine chemistry.
MIBK (Methylisobutylketone) is a stable, medium evaporating liquid and compatible with many organic materials, which makes it a good industrial solvent. It is commonly used as a solvent in paints, lacquers, varnishes and adhesives. MIBK is also used as a chemical intermediate in the synthesis of a rubber anti-ozonant additive in tyres.
