Management of substances of concern (SoC) and REACH defined substances of very high concern (SVHC)

Arkema has disclosed the quantities of SVHC and SoCs present in its products sold in its 2025 Universal Registration document (analysis covering 94 % of Group sales).

Products containing SVHC, whether subject to authorization or on the candidate list, accounted for 5.1% of sales in 2025, compared to 3.8% in 2024. This increase is due in particular to changes in the candidate list in 2025 and changes in the sales mix.

The Group is continuing its efforts to reduce the number of SVHCs in its products through substance reformulation and substitution. The Archimedes portfolio assessment program is identifying products in a “challenge” category, for priority action-plan rollout.
