Flooring systems and marking
Arkema’s flooring solutions are designed to deliver long lasting protection, enhanced safety and easy maintenance in high traffic and critical data center areas. Crayamid® polyamide hardeners contribute to robust epoxy flooring systems, while Sartomer® oligomers improve chemical and abrasion resistance. Encor® waterborne binders, combined with Coapur™ and Rheotech™ thickeners, ensure strong adhesion and smooth application. For line markings and smart ESD flooring exposed to heavy loads and intense traffic, Synolac® binders provide reliable performance, while Encor® waterborne binders used with Coapur™ and Coadis™ additives deliver durable protection for floor and concrete coatings.
Bostik's smart ESD Flooring withstanding heavy loads and high traffic - PU for durable and easy to clean or Epoxy based for functionality and aesthetic. Both technologies offer durability, hygiene and resistance to chemicals and abrasion.

Resistant concrete for structural durability

Power supply - Material solutions for reliable, secure power supply in data centers
Cabling Infrastructure and reliable energy distribution
Kynar Flex® PVDF ensures flexibility, low shrink-back and cold temperature impact strength layers for flame resistant fiber cables jackets. To further enhance durability, Sartomer® methacrylate coagents are used to improve the heat and abrasion resistance of cable insulation.
Arkema delivers advanced solutions with Sartomer® methacrylate coagents, providing superior insulation for power cables, enhanced thermal stability, and extended service life, meeting the expectations of modern energy infrastructure.
Organic peroxides, under the trade names Luperox®, Retic®, are used as cross-linking agents in insulating layer, semi-conductive-layers and sheath layer of medium to high voltage cables.
Renewable energy 
To ensure long-term performance of solar panels, Arkema’s Sartomer® encapsulant and adhesive solutions deliver anti-PID (Potential Induced Degradation) protection, high crosslinking density, and low water permeability, helping maintain electrical efficiency and durability over time. For wind turbine applications, Arkema’s Crayvallac® rheology additives, Synocure® resins for two-component coatings, and Crayamid® curing agents provide superior protection and durability, ensuring long-lasting coating performance in extreme operating conditions.

Cooling systems - Innovative materials for thermal management in data centers
Cooling fluids transmission
Reliable fluid circulation is critical for cooling efficiency. Arkema’s Rilsan® PA11 provides toughness and chemical resistance for cooling liquid transfer systems, including tubing, piping, and fittings. Produced from renewable castor oil, Rilsan® Polyamide 11 combines high-performance properties with 100% bio-based origin.
Infrastructure cooling
Arkema supports large-scale cooling infrastructure with solutions designed for durability and corrosion resistance. Synocure® high-solids acrylic NISO resins protect cooling towers with recirculating water systems. For HVAC chiller components, Synolac® high-solids polyester resins and Sartomer® UV and EB resins help protect pre-painted steel against moisture, heat, and chemical exposure. Interior refrigerant coils can also benefit from enhanced protection using Crayvallac® bio-based additives.
Optimising the performance and service life of HVAC systems: specially developed for the HVAC industry, Bostik’s range of high performance tapes, coatings, adhesives and sealants provides secure fixing, as well as physical and environmental protection for all ducting and pipework insulation.
Forane® 1233zd and Forane® 513a are non-ozone depleting and low GWP refrigerants used for data center chillers. They combine the advantage of high cooling efficiency and low environmental impact. They both meet ASHRAE non-flammable class A1 standards.
Forane® HTS 1233zd is used in low pressure centrifugal chiller while Forane® 513a is used in screw, scroll and centrifugal medium pressure chillers, matching very closely R-134a.

Electronics & data storage - Advanced materials for high-performance electronics in data centers
Electronics and data storage systems are at the core of data center performance and reliability. Arkema provides advanced material solutions that support high-density electronics manufacturing, signal integrity, long-term data protection, and durable energy distribution across critical components.
PCB manufacturing and protection
Zenimid® polyimide films provide electrical insulation above 400°C, along with excellent heat resistance and dimensional stability for flexible printed circuit boards, while Kynar® PVDF ultra-pure resins are used in high-purity water piping equipment to ensure chemical resistance and long-term reliability. Sartomer® UV acrylate materials are used in conformal coatings, copper-clad laminates, encapsulants, dry films, and solder masks, delivering high-resolution imaging as well as protection against moisture, corrosion, and chemical exposure.
Bostik's Low Pressure Molding (HMPA), potting (2K Epoxy, UV-Acrylate), Dam&Fill (UV Epoxy) are used to encapsulate, seal and protect delicate electronic components. It can also allow selective component protection on PCBs.
Connectors and precision bonding
For reliable interconnections, Arkema offers bio-based Rilsan® PA11, delivering flexibility and chemical resistance for connector components. Sartomer® UV formulations enable the production of halogen-free, flame-retardant 3D-printed connectors designed for lightweight cable routing and housings. Precision bonding in electronic assembly is supported by Sartomer® UV, acrylic, and anaerobic adhesives, as well as Bostik engineering adhesives, including protective materials such as Low-Pressure Molding solutions (Thermelt®) used for high-speed cable connectors.
Adhesives for micro bonding in electronics
Bostik’s Born2Bond™ engineering adhesives further support precision bonding in microelectronics, enabling accurate assembly without heat damage. Available in UV acrylic and UV epoxy, HMPUR, and two-component epoxy technologies, these solutions are well suited for sensitive electronic components requiring high precision and reliability.
Optical fiber cables and signal transmission
Sartomer® UV acrylate materials are also used in optical fiber coatings, enabling low signal loss and reliable high-speed data transmission and processing.
Data storage and server protection
To support long-term data integrity in HDD and SSD systems, Sartomer® UV acrylate coating materials and laminate adhesives contribute to the protection and durability of data storage components. Server rack protection is further enhanced through Reafree®-based powder coatings, which help control electrostatic discharge, resist corrosion, and support thermal management within data center environments.
