The jury has selected the winners of the Arkema Education Fund, which aims to finance projects proposed by volunteer employees of the Arkema Group. In this way, the Group supports the work, involvement and unlimited commitment of its employees in favour of education, in a country where we operate. In 2022, six projects have been selected and will receive financial support.

Associação Espaço Curumim (Brazil)

Founded 12 years ago in São Paulo, this NGO welcomes children and families in vulnerable situations with the objective of helping them getting out of precarious housing and malnutrition. It also promotes access to education by offering them theater, dance, music and art classes, physical activities, digital inclusion, English, environmental education, games and visits.

The association plans to build two new classrooms in the public school located in the indigenous territory of the Guarani community.

Graines de joie (France)

The population of the 1st district of Marseille lives in very poor conditions. Graines de Joie precisely strives to enable underprivileged children to have a chance of a better future in society.

The support of the Arkema Fund for Education will help provide educational support for children in this disadvantaged neighborhood of Marseille.

Unione Italiana dei Ciechi e degli Ipovedenti (Italy)

The Italian Union of the Blind and Visually Impaired was founded in 1920. The association organizes many services for the visually impaired such as: training and school assistance, support activities for those who lose their sight in adulthood, awareness campaigns and prevention of blindness, meeting days, cultural activities, summer stays, promotion of sports.

The endowment will allow them to finance the purchase of a Braille printer.

Cibiel Lannelongue (Brazil)

The Cibiel-Lannelongue association was created at the end of the 19th century for young women in difficulty. Today, it is backed by Amitié Claire Internationale which opened in 1997 a home called "CLARA AMIZADE" in Salvador de Bahia, Brazil. Today, it welcomes some 220 girls, young women and young adults.
 
The funds will be used to finance part of the association's construction project which consists of raising the floor of the building annexed to the home to create offices, a classroom, educational or administrative meetings, a room for reception (visitors, trainees, volunteers), and sanitary facilities.

Elancetoi (France)

Elancetoi is an association for young people, in particular high school and university students. Its main objective is to promote equal opportunities by supporting the young generations of the priority districts, both academically and personally.

The funding will allow the association to organize a complete revision course for the young people in order to prepare them for the end-of-year exams.

Khedashi Madhyamik Shikshan Sanshta, Shri Mahalaxmi Madhyamik Vidhyaly, khedashi, Tal-dist-ratnagiri (India)

This association was created in 1983, in order to help families in need to send their children to school.

The funds will be used to build a classroom.
