Smart adhesives for exterior applications
Our exterior vehicle offerings include cutting-edge automotive bonding technology for a safe, efficient, and fast adhesion process. The bonding of functional and decorative vehicle exterior parts requires long-lasting, quick adhesion for accelerated bonding operations. Bostik offers high performance Silane-modified polymer (SMP) structural adhesives and Polyurethane (PU) sealants for vehicle exterior applications. Our smart adhesive solutions enable easier handling of decorative parts components, such as emblems and aerodynamic spoilers, as well as functional parts like tailgates, direct glazing, and lighting components. We designed the following structural adhesives and sealants to be compatible with a wide range of substrates including composite materials:

Polyurethane CASE applications
Polyurethane is a versatile material that is ideally suited for a wide range of CASE (Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants, and Elastomers) applications for making a wide range of automotive products. Their versatility has led to applications ranging from headlight gaskets, electronic casting parts, to paint coatings or protective coatings for truck bed liners. Siliporite® Molecular sieves powders are strong and reliable desiccants widely used in two components (2K) and can ​also perform in one-component (1K) PU CASE formulations. Our Siliporite® powders enable you to optimize formulation performance by avoiding presence of moisture, tailor the pot life, shortening return to service time, improving surface appearance and adhesion of the final product.

Vulcanization agents for TPV and rubber parts
Ekaland™, Mixland® and Vultac® vulcanization agents for EPDM, TPV part applied door sealants and wiper blades. These parts of the vehicle have to cope with very intense use and thermal or mechanical stress.
