Namer of D1 Arkema since 2019, Arkema is now a partner of the French national Women's Football Team for the next two seasons, until 2025.
Just as Les Bleues are getting ready in Clairefontaine before jetting off to Australia to compete in the World Cup (20 July – 20 August 2023), the major player in Specialty Materials is bolstering its commitment alongside the FFF (Fédération française de football) to top-level women's football and to developing the women’s game.
The FFF has just announced an ambitious plan to professionalize women's football in France, which includes reforming the national women's competition pyramid, establishing a final phase for the D1 Arkema championship, putting in place three levels for the Licence Club, opening certified training centers, and creating a dedicated league.
Philippe Diallo, FFF President:
“The FFF is delighted to welcome this major industrial player as partner to our national Women's Team. This new partnership is entirely consistent with the Federation's ambition to develop the game to the highest level. As a pioneer partner of the women's D1, Arkema also wished to be part of the new project and the new challenges of the French national team run by Hervé Renard and his staff.”

Together with the Women's French national Team we support strong common values of commitment, performance, sharing, and inclusion. So, for us it is a source of great pride to stand by Les Bleues and their high ambitions for the upcoming competitions: the 2023 World Cup this summer, the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, and Euro 2025.”
