Arkema announces two appointments in its Bostik Specialty Adhesives business: Rodrigo Lacerda as Director of the Construction and Consumer Division, and Fernando Accioly Menezes as Director of Strategy and International Coordination. Both joined the Group on July 8th 2019.
48 year old Rodrigo Lacerda, a Brazilian national, is a graduate Electrical Engineer from the Federal University of Brazil with additional training at Harvard Business School and IMD (International Institute for Management Development).
In 1998 he joined Portokoll, a Brazilian company specializing in tile adhesives, as Managing Director. In 2000, he joined the PAREX group as Director of the Brazilian subsidiary, before becoming Director of Acquisitions. In 2009, he was appointed Managing Director of the PAREX subsidiaries in the United States and in Brazil, in 2014 Managing Director Americas, and in 2018 he became Deputy Managing Director of PAREX, in charge of the Americas, Europe-Middle East and Africa regions as well as of the Group’s Purchasing.
45 year old Fernando Accioly Menezes, a Franco-Brazilian national, graduated from Ecole nationale des Ponts et Chaussées (France).
In 1998 he began his career at PEUGEOT PSA in the Group’s Platforms Division, and in 2001 he joined AT KEARNEY as Management and Strategy Consultant. In 2003, he joined IMERYS where he has held a number of senior management posts, first in strategy, later in overseas business (India, Indonesia and China), and then in several Business Units (talc, solutions for the oil and carbonates sectors).
