In 2019, Arkema was a partner of the FIFA Women's World Cup. Since then, Arkema has been sponsoring the French First Division and is a partner of several professional teams such as NC Courage in Cary and the Philadelphia Union in the United States, and FC Santos in Brazil. The Group also supports numerous amateur clubs around the world.
Arkema continues to be involved in sport by signing a partnership agreement with the amateur Deportivo de Casares Club, a small town in the province of Buenos Aires.
This move to become the club's main partner confirms Arkema's commitment to the community of Carlos Casares, where the Group has had a factory for several years. The club has a rich history in the town and a strong commitment to social responsibility.
As part of this partnership, Arkema will be present at the various tournaments in which the club participates and the brand logo will also be visible on the shirts of the men's and women's football teams.
The club will participate in the local league, the ‘2025 Carlos Cachi Seraci Tournament’, a regional league in the province of Buenos Aires, with two men's and women's first teams and a men's reserve team. The league champion has the opportunity to participate in the regional federal amateur tournament, which is the fourth category of Argentine football.
The Carlos Casares sports club was founded on 9 July 1913 with the motto, ‘Healthy body, healthy mind’. Since its creation, the club has promoted the physical and mental well-being of its members, leaving a significant mark on the community, particularly through the distribution of meals in the community of Carlos Casares for 13 years now.
The club has also distinguished itself by promoting social, sporting and cultural activities, becoming a meeting and development space for people of all ages.
With a long history, it has won 17 regional division titles, a testament to its excellence and efforts in the field of sport.
