Effective March 1st 2011, Luc BENOIT-CATTIN will be joining the ARKEMA Group, and on July 1st 2011 will be appointed Executive Vice President Industry and a member of the Executive Committee.
Luc BENOIT-CATTIN, 47 years old, is a graduate of Ecole Polytechnique and Ecole des Mines in Paris. Between 1988 and 1995 he held a number of positions in administration at the French Ministry for Economy, Finance and Industry. From 1995 to 1997 he was Technical Adviser to the Minister for Industry. In 1997 he joined the Pechiney Group as Plant Manager and later on Head of a business unit for rolling and aluminium. In 2002 he joined CGG Veritas, where he was successively Director of Resources and Operating Performance, Director of Offshore, and, from 2009, Managing Director of Geophysical Services and a member of the Executive Committee.
