Arkema Poland won the 1st Award among small firms (up to 50 people) in the regional stage of the contest "Employer - organizer of safe work" organized by the Polish State Labor Inspectorate. Our Polish plant located in Inowrocław manufactures molecular sieves (CECA).
The aim of the contest is to promote employers that organize safe working place, protect employees' health, comply with provisions of the labor code and make sustainable progress with regard to HSE.

The inspector was impressed by our corporate safety standards and encouraged the plant to participate in the contest "Employer - organizer of safe work".
Winning this award coincided with the 15th anniversary of the Inowrocław plant that we celebrated in 2014. It is a recognition of efforts made by all of our employees in area of work safety improvement. We are happy that we won it, but we also keep our heads cool as we know that we can make further progress.
The evaluation criteria were based on the followings:
- compliance with the labor code,
- compliance with HSE regulations,
- implemented HSEQ programs,
- number of accidents and follow up actions,
- additional work protection factors (safety culture, CAPEX, etc.)
Based on the above criteria, our plant prepared a report with photos to present its safety performance in detail.
For Piotr Orliński, Inspector of State Labor Inspectorate, the industrial safety policy adopted and deployed by Arkema on 3 axes - technical, organizational and behavioral - is exemplary. It helps ensure employees optimal working conditions.
