The Arche de Noé Climat has returned to Paris to stand at the very heart of the COP21 and so deliver the messages from the people of France to the leaders and diplomats of the whole world.
Inaugurated in Paris on 19 September this year, by Ségolène Royal, French Minister for Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy, and Thierry Le Hénaff, Arkema Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, the Arche de Noé Climat went on to visit a number of major cities in France.
As they travelled across the country, the animals made of Altuglas® acrylic sheet gathered testimonies, put forward by children and their families to fight against global warming. They even became the symbol of COP21, in particular on social networks via #ADNClimat.
Hence, throughout the duration of the Conference of the Parties (COP21) being held in Le Bourget from 30 November to 11 December, 80 of these “whistle-blowers” will be exhibited in the “Conference Center” reserved for accredited people as well as in the “Generations Climate” areas, open to the public.
They will display on giant screens, for the world’s leaders and diplomats to see, their messages and suggestions to protect the climate, representing a powerful symbol of what is at stake at this conference.
