Effective as of October 1st 2019, or as contract terms allow, Arkema will raise price for its hydrogen peroxide range by 30 €/DMT and for its sodium chlorate by 30€/MT in Europe and for the export markets. These prices adjustments are necessary to cover increasing electricity and labor costs.
Arkema is a worldwide producer of hydrogen peroxide with plants in Asia, Europe and North America. Hydrogen peroxide is used in many market segments such as chemical synthesis, pulp and textile fiber bleaching, aseptic packaging, cleaning, waste treatment or cosmetics.
Sodium chlorate is mainly used for pulp bleaching.
