Arkema proposes a wide range of collectors with various chain lengths and polar heads used in flotation for minerals. They are commercialized under the tradenames Melioran®/Noram®/Noramac®/Cataflot®. Foranext® LiFSI and LiTDI for lithium-ion batteries

Foranext® gas for fluoropolymer synthesis
Arkema manufacturers advanced fluorogases, such as HCFC-142b and HCFC-22, which are used in the synthesis of fluoropolymers and fluoroeslatomers, such as polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE).

Forane® 1233zd HTS
Forane® HTS 1233zd refrigerant is non-ozone depleting and is a low GWP HFO refrigerant. Forane® HTS 1233zd is used in centrifugal chillers and exhibits excellent refrigerant balance, while combining the advantages of high cooling efficiency, low environmental impact and non-flammability. Forane® HTS 1233zd refrigerant meets ASHRAE non-flammable Class A1 standards.
Forane® 134a blowing agent
Forane® 134a is a gaseous, non-ozone depleting blowing agent that can be used for foam applications, including residential refrigerator and freezer, panels for walk-in freezers, construction, and extruded polystyrene foam board insulation.
Forane® 141b is a liquid blowing agent ideal for spray foam applications. Since it is a liquid at atmospheric conditions and has low vapor thermal conductivity, which allow the production of polyurethane foam with excellent physical properties. The low vapor thermal conductivity of Forane® 141b makes it ideal for the appliance market. Forane® 141b is an ideal blowing agent for polyurethane core metal-faced panels used for construction. R-141b is an HCFC and, as an ozone-depleting substance, is subject to phase out according to the Montreal Protocol international treaty and the Clean Air Act in the United States; it has been phased out in the United States for use in foam.
As third generation hydrofluorocarbons, Forane® 365mfc/227ea blends (87/13 and 93/7) are the ideal replacements for R-141b for rigid foam blowing agent needs. Forane® 365mfc/227ea blends have zero ozone depletion potential and boiling point similar to HCFC 141b, thus they can be handled as a true liquid at room temperature. While the straight Forane® 365mfc has a flash point, Arkema offers two different blends that have no flash point and are not subject to flammable liquid regulation. Available in Europe. Forane® 449A (XP40) is a R-404A & R-22 retrofit with reduced GWP of 1282 and higher efficiency for low and medium temperature commercial and industrial refrigeration.

Forane® FBA 1233zd foam blowing agent
Forane® FBA 1233zd is a high performance, low global warming potential (GWP) liquid blowing agent that is SNAP approved for most polyurethane (PU) applications, including residential appliance, commercial refrigeration, construction panels and doors, as well as spray foam. Forane® FBA 1233zd is non-flammable, liquid blowing agent.
Forane® R-134a refrigerant
Forane® 134a (R-134a) is a non-ozone depleting HFC with properties very similar to R-12. It can be used both as a pure refrigerant and as a component in refrigerant blends. R-134a is used in applications, including automotive air conditioning, chillers, medium temperature commercial refrigeration, refrigeration appliances, dehumidifier, and transport refrigeration.
Forane® 22 refrigerant (R-22) is used in a broad range of applications, including residential and commercial air conditioning, refrigeration, chillers, room air conditioning, heat pumps, transport refrigeration, and other comfort cooling and refrigeration applications. R-22 is an HCFC and is going through a mandatory phase-out for manufacturing and importing by January 1, 2020, according to the Montreal Protocol. It will remain legal for end-users to purchase and use Forane® 22 refrigerant in existing R-22 equipment past this date. R-22 virgin and reclaim refrigerants are readily available and will be for years to come. Retrofit refrigerants, such as Forane® 427A - The EASY RETROFITTM, may be options for servicing existing R-22 installations.

Forane® 32 is the main component of R-410A refrigerant. Mixed with the R-125 fluid, Forane® 32 is behind the high efficiency of Forane® 410A.
In order to offer a lower GWP refrigerant as a replacement for R-410A and to reduce its direct emission impact on global warming, Arkema is promoting Forane® 32 as a stand-alone refrigerant for air conditioning and heat pump applications. Experiences and feedback from OEMs worldwide show that Forane® 32 is an excellent candidate for these applications.
Forane® 404A (R-404A) is a non-ozone depleting, near azeotropic blend of HFC refrigerants R-125, R-143a, and R-134a, and is formulated to match the properties of R-502, making it useful for a variety of medium and low temperature refrigeration applications. R-404A has been approved by many refrigeration compressor and system manufacturers for use in new refrigeration equipment, such as food display and storage cases, cold storage rooms, ice machines, transportation, and process refrigeration.
Forane® 407A (R-407A) is a non-ozone depleting, zeotropic blend of HFC refrigerants R-32, R-125, and R-134a. Forane® 407A is a lower GWP refrigerant, designed for the replacement of R-404A and R-507A (retrofit and new equipment) in medium and low temperature refrigeration. Common applications include supermarket refrigeration, refrigerated transports, and food processing. R-407A can also be used as an R22 retrofit for medium and low temperature refrigeration systems but is not intended for air-conditioning applications nor recommended for use in systems with flooded evaporators. Overall system capacities and efficiencies of an R-407A retrofit will be similar to those of R-22 for the US.
Forane® 407C (R-407C) is a non-ozone depleting, zeotropic blend of HFC refrigerants R-32, R-125, and R-134a, and has been formulated to match the properties of R-22 closely in air conditioning applications. Forane® 407C can be used to replace R-22 in new or existing R-22 residential and commercial air conditioning systems as well as non-flooded evaporator chillers. R-407C is completely immiscible with mineral oil and will require a complete oil change to POE when retrofitting an R-22 installation. Like other R22 retrofits, R-407C is a high glide blend and is therefore typically not recommended for use in a system with a flooded evaporator.
Forane® 408A refrigerant (R-408A) is a low-ozone depleting, near-azeotropic HCFC-containing blend of R-22, R-125, and R-143a, designed to match the performance of R-502. Forane® 408A is a retrofit solution for medium and low temperature refrigeration systems that are currently using R-502. R-408A should not be mixed with R-502 or used to top off the charge of an existing system operating on R-502. R-408A is not intended for use in new equipment. R-408A contains an HCFC and, as an ozone depleting refrigerant, is subject to phase out according to the Montreal Protocol international treaty and the Clean Air Act in the United States.

Forane® 410A Refrigerant (R-410A) is a near-azeotropic refrigerant mixture composed of two hydrofluorocarbons (HFC) R-32 and R-125, which does not deplete the ozone layer and is suitable for all types of air conditioners . Forane® 410A is widely used in new residential and light commercial air conditioning systems, heat pumps, dehumidifiers, chillers and other HVAC applications. Since R-410A has higher cooling capacity and pressure than R-22, it is not suitable for R-22 equipment.

Forane® 507A (R-507A) is a non-ozone depleting, azeotropic blend of HFC refrigerants R-125 and R-143a. R-507A has properties that match those of R-502 closely, making it a good refrigerant for some medium and most low temperature refrigeration applications. Forane® 507A is approved by compressor and system manufacturers for use in new refrigeration equipment, such as food display and storage cases, cold storage rooms, transportation, and process refrigeration.
