Boron trifluoride (BF3) is an excellent catalyst compound (Lewis acid) for polymerization, diborane generator, and pharmaceutical synthesis. It is used to manufacture petrochemical specialties, pharmaceutical molecules, and also for electrolytes and electronics applications.
