The Birdsboro plant also produces Copolymer Pebax® resins, which are used in such applications as cycling and sports shoes, watch bands, ski boots, other recreational and athletic products, and medical applications such as cardiac catheters.
The Birdsboro plant and its sister plants in Serquigny, France, and Zhangjiagang, China are the world's only producers of Nylon 11.
