Retirement Savings 401(k) Plan

Upon hire, you are eligible to participate in our competitive 401(k) plan through pre-tax contributions, Roth contributions, or a combination of the two. We provide matching contributions and, for most groups, make additional contributions each year, regardless of whether or not you contribute to the plan.

Retiree Medical Plan

For those eligible, we offer retiree medical coverage up to age 65, through the same medical insurance plans available to active employees.

COMPREHENSIVE HEALTH BENEFITS

Your family’s health and well-being needs are unique. Our comprehensive benefits provide security for you and your eligible dependents on day one of your employment. We offer benefits for all, from chronic condition to acute conditions. Best of all, Arkema pays most of the cost of these high quality programs.

Medical Plan

Arkema offers two medical plans, so you can choose the option that's right for you. The Consumer Driven Health Plan (CDHP) costs less up front, but you must meet a higher deductible before you receive coverage. Meanwhile, the Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) is a more traditional plan design offering lower deductibles at a slightly higher premium rate. Regardless of which option you choose, Arkema pays a significant portion of the costs, and both are comprehensive plans that include prescription drug coverage.

Dental Plan

The dental plan covers 100% of preventive dental care, including exams and up to three cleanings annually,  and offers benefits for other dental services and orthodontia, up to an annual maximum.

Vision Plan

The vision plan helps cover the cost of eye exams, contact lenses, eyeglass frames and lenses.

Flexible Spending Accounts

Health care and Dependent Day Care flexible spending accounts allow you to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for eligible healthcare and dependent day care expenses during the year.

Health Savings Account (HSA)

When you elect the CDHP medical plan, you can enroll in an HSA to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for eligible healthcare expenses. You own the account and can roll over the money you don’t use from year to year. You can also elect to invest your balance and save for medical expenses in retirement. Arkema also invests in your health by making contributions to your HSA when you first join the company and at the beginning of each calendar year thereafter.

Supplemental Health Plans

Our supplemental health plan options are designed to protect you and your family from the financial impact of a critical illness, accidental injury, or hospital stay. These plans pay cash benefits directly to you to help with out-of-pocket costs.

Health Advocacy and Condition Support

Our programs are designed to help you manage and control conditions like diabetes, hypertension, cancer, and chronic pain, and get professional support when you need it.
