ARKEMA LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (ALDP)

Co-developed with Cornell University, this program is designed at the forefront of innovation, strategy and operational excellence. The program is designed to enhance leadership effectiveness by fostering increased self-awareness and emotional intelligence; prepare participants to lead effectively at Arkema through the use of critical thinking, strategy, innovation and operational awareness; and enable leaders to make an impact at Arkema with enriched skills in negotiations and organizational change. 

MANUFACTURING MANAGEMENT DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (MMDP)

In partnership with Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business faculty MMDP develops and prepares employees to assume positions of greater leadership in manufacturing and manufacturing support functions. The program consists of four experiential based learning modules with interactive sessions between modules to complement and reinforce content and continue engagement. The program concludes with a capstone team project and a visit to Arkema’s global headquarters in France where participants obtain insights on Group level strategy and decision making from some of Arkema’s most senior executives, while also experiencing the culture of France.

ARKEMA MANAGER ACADEMY

Manager Academy trains and empowers managers of all levels to become more effective leaders. Designed with Arkema-specific courses and content in partnership with DDI, participants complete courses on coaching, goal setting, building and sustaining trust, creating an inclusive environment and more. Employees complete the program equipped with skills to support their careers and those of their direct reports.

FRONTLINE LEADER TRAINING

Frontline Leader training prepares our supervisors in the field with a successful transition from individual contributor to team leader.  The training strives to meet supervisors where they are, on the floor of our manufacturing facilities. Courses are only 60-90 minutes in length, provided on site, and focus on: teambuilding and maximizing performance, conflict resolution, growing a strong safety culture, and more. Employees complete the program with leadership skills specific to managing a team in an industrial setting.  An added bonus – the training helps to build supervisor networks in our plants.

COMMUNITY FOR MARKETING EXCELLENCE (CME-U)

CME-U is designed to help marketing professionals further their education and develop their skills through in-house training modules primarily developed for Arkema employees, by Arkema employees. These courses offer Arkema case studies, demonstrations, breakout activities and take-home content that employees can apply to their roles immediately.

LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT OFFERINGS

The Learning and Development team offers a catalog of assessments, trainings, courses, lectures and educational and language support that is refreshed annually.
