Committed for more than a decade to education, inclusion, and diversity, Arkema has renewed its partnerships with Sport dans la Ville, the CGénial Foundation, and the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées for another three years. Through these corporate philanthropy initiatives, the Group is strengthening its efforts to support career guidance for young people, facilitate their professional integration, and expand their access to culture.
By renewing these partnerships through 2028, Arkema is reaffirming its commitment to taking concrete action in support of equal opportunity. Through sports, exposure to scientific careers, and access to culture, we aim to help young people envision their futures, build confidence, and shape their own paths.”
Sport dans la ville: sports as a powerful driver of inclusion
A partner of Sport dans la Ville since 2019, Arkema has already helped support the development of more than 4,700 young people. Of these, 500 have taken part in initiatives organized with the Group, including professional immersion experiences, site visits, career‑preparation workshops, and mentoring.
Over the next three years, Arkema is deepening its commitment by contributing to the construction and renovation of nine sports fields. At the same time, the Group will continue supporting the Job dans la Ville program, which focuses on the social and professional integration of young people.
CGénial foundation: encouraging scientific and technical careers
Since 2016, Arkema has worked with the CGénial Foundation to introduce young people to scientific and industrial professions and to encourage diverse career pathways for both girls and boys.
Over nearly a decade, this partnership has enabled close to 21,000 students to meet an Arkema employee and more than 700 teachers to explore industrial careers through visits to the Group’s production sites.
Théâtre des Champs‑Élysées: expanding access to culture
A partner of the Théâtre des Champs‑Élysées since 2017, the Group contributes to the institution’s initiatives to raise awareness of classical music, particularly through its Jeune Public opera series.
Each year, more than 12,000 children from elementary and middle schools in Paris and the surrounding region are introduced to the world of opera through interactive performances designed specifically for young audiences.
In addition, Arkema enables young girls supported by Sport dans la Ville, and their families, to attend these performances, reflecting the Group’s commitment to building bridges between its various initiatives.
