Websites and locations

With the public returning to stadiums, a new partner in place, and the Pink October operation underway, there are plenty of reasons not to miss a thing about D1 Arkema at the start of this 2021 fall season.

Both fans and events back in force!

In the wake of a season marred by the Covid-19 pandemic, 2021-2022 marks a salutary return of fans to stadiums in France. For our greatest happiness and for yours, since a system around the D1 Arkema stadiums will be put in place before each game, as well as at half-time.

Special access will be given to amateur clubs for the “Arkema games” to experience the event as intimately as possible, including watching the players' warm-up on the sidelines and shaking a tarp in the center circle, Champions League style, as the teams walk on to the pitch.

You will also have the opportunity to discover, just outside the stadiums, our touring showroom exhibiting the Group’s major innovations in connection with D1 Arkema, such as the Pebax technology that is key in the latest Nike football boot, or the 3D-printed D1 Arkema trophy.

Finally, at gala games, spectators will have a chance to step into the “Arkema Arena” and try to score as many goals as possible in the allotted time.

Confirmation of Paris FC...

On the pitch, with a great start to the season, Paris FC bears special mention. Solid in the back and prolific in the attack, despite a 4-0 defeat against a very convincing Paris Saint-Germain, the players of the former international Sandrine Soubeyrand stand in third place in the rankings with twelve points, just behind the giants of Olympique Lyonnais (15 pts) and PSG (15 pts).

After scoring 13 goals in the last season, Clara Matéo (photo) has started in the same vein as last season. An engineer at Arkema, the 23-year-old striker is in impressive form at the start of the season, having scored 3 goals already in 5 league games.

... until Gaëtane Thiney’s return

After extending her contract with Paris FC for one year in the summer of 2021, this international player with 163 caps (58 goals) has been loaned to the Gotham FC club (New York City) until 31 December 2021, and so at the age of 35, has discovered the world’s most prestigious women's championship, namely the National Women's Soccer League.

You can watch below the first episode of a web series dedicated to the life, in America, of the Paris FC captain. More to come on Arkema's social networks.

A powerful new partner

New season often means new developments, and 2021 is no exception to the rule. The company Point.P is making its first appearance in the world of French women's football by becoming a partner of D1 Arkema.

After being a major presence in the old Coupe de la Ligue for almost twenty years, the Saint-Gobain Group brand has signed a three-year contract with the Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP) and the Fédération Française de Football (FFF), in particular to “speed up the advent of gender equality”, as the brand indicated in a press release.

Launch of Pink October

To mark the Octobre Rose campaign Arkema is once again joining forces with the Ruban Rose and RoseUp associations in the fight against cancer.

As partner and namer of the French Women's First Division Championship, Arkema has pledged to donate €150 to Ruban Rose for every goal scored in D1 during all championship days in October.

Furthermore, Arkema is encouraging all of its 7,000 employees in France to take up an online solidarity sporting challenge via the Sport Heroes app in order to build up as large a donation as possible, to be made by Arkema to the RoseUp association at the close of the challenge.
