Melioran®
Flotation uses the ability of surfactants to interact with surface sites of specific mineral species, making them hydrophobic. The minerals are thus carried up to the surface by air bubbles.
Melioran® is a recognized anionic collector for reverse flotation of phosphates, used for calcium carbonate removal from francolite.
Specialty methacrylate monomers and oligomers
Sartomer offers a wide range of methacrylate monomers and oligomers.
Methacrylate monomers are used in applications ranging from chemical intermediates to adhesives and sealants to elastomers and more. In addition to diluency, these monomers impart a variety of key performance characteristics, including heat resistance, chemical resistance, and adhesion.
Methacrylated oligomers provide hardness, chemical resistance, and other properties critical to coatings and adhesives.
Methylacrylate
Methylacrylate is a colorless liquid above its freezing point of -75°C ( -103°F). Its homopolymer glass transition temperature is 10°C (51°F).
It can be polymerized with each other and copolymerized with other monomers to produce polymers having the optimal properties for your application.
Methylisobutylcarbinol
MIBC (Methylisobutylcarbinol) is a colorless liquid C6 branched alcohol. It is used in the synthesis of lub oil addtives (ZDDP) for anti-wear and anti-corrosion. It is also commonly used as a large range flotation frother in copper (polymetallic) and coal minings. MIBC can also be used in coatings or fine chemistry.
Methylisobutylketone
MIBK (Methylisobutylketone) is a stable, medium evaporating liquid and compatible with many organic materials, which makes it a good industrial solvent. MIBK can also be used in order to extract, separate and purify various products. It is used in the pharmaceutical, agrochemical industries, in fine chemistry…
It is commonly used as a solvent in paints, lacquers, varnishes and adhesives. MIBK is also used as a chemical intermediate in the synthesis of a rubber anti-ozonant additive in tyres.
Mixland+® - Polymer-bound masterbatches
Mixland+® is a range patented by Arkema / MLPC International of additives for rubber industry, dispersed in a polymeric carrier which allows a better compatibility with all types of rubber. The tack phenomenon of pellets at room temperature is eliminated.
MSA 70%
MSA 70% (Methane Sulfonic Acid - CAS 75-75-2) is a strong acid widely used as a catalyst (esterification, alkylation, etc.) thanks to its performances, it is an interesting substitute for organic and inorganic strong acids in various applications.
Ester quality, easy recyclability and "green" effluent are part of the major 70% methane sulfonic acid advantage is in esterification.
MSA LC
MSA LC represents the latest innovation in product development by Arkema’s R&D and corrosion experts. MSA LC is a strong acid esterification catalyst that improves yield for biodiesel producers using advantaged feeds, with significantly reduced corrosivity toward stainless steel materials.
MSC
Methane sulfonyl chloride (MSC) is a versatile, responsive, mesyl group (CH3SO2) chemical for substitution in a number of reactions. Methane sulfonyl chloride (MSC), an acid chloride, undergoes reactions typical of this class of compounds, such as replacement of hydroxyl, amino and active alpha hydrogen, hydrolysis, etc.
