Tegoglas® cold-end container glass coatings
Tegoglas® cold-end container glass coatings are a range of proprietary wax emulsion concentrates for high performance coatings of glass containers. The wax emulsion forms a lubricating and protective coating on glass containers. Tegoglas® cold-end coatings provide long-lasting protection for both dry and wet filling processes. Using Tegoglas® cold end coatings will help improve scratch resistance and reduce glass fractures and scuffing during filling and transportation.
Tegoglas® 702 cold-end container glass coating
Tegoglas® 702 cold-end container glass coating is specially formulated to provide high smoothness and dry filling scratch resistance. Tegoglas® 702 coating is commonly used for pharmeceutical bottles and functions well in coating line conditions of 80-130°C, but can also perform at <80°C. Through product testing, Arkema has found the Tegoglas® 702 works best with synthetic or casein labeling glues. Tegoglas® 702 coating is not useful for sterilization/washing and has limited performance in wet filling lines.
Tegoglas® OL80 cold-end container glass coating
Tegoglas® OL80 cold-end container glass coating is formulated for glass and tableware used with wine, oil, dairy, or liquid foods at glass coating temperatures higher than 130°C. When the the taste of a wine, oil, dairy, or food product is of highest importance, Tegoglas® OL80 coating is Arkema's best product. The non-toxic formulation of Tegoglas® OL80 coating is designed to resist the formation of nozzle blockages in vaporizing equipment. Tegoglas® OL80 coating is also the most flexible cold-end coating for labeling by Arkema, working well with synthetic, casein, starch, or self-adhesive glues.
Tegoglas® RP40 cold-end container glass coating
Tegoglas® RP40 cold-end container glass coating is designed for operating temperatures between 100°C to 150°C. Glass containers subject to hot-filling and those that are pasteurized or sterilized need high-temperature coating performance. Tegoglas® RP40 cold-end container glass coating does not degrade in these demanding conditions. Further, Tegoglas® RP40 container glass coating provides durability during transportation and handling with its excellent scratch resistance. Filling line productivity can be increased by eliminating over-coating, and with a tailor-made slip angle Tegoglas® RP40 container glass coating is ideal for thin-walled hot-filled glass containers.
Tegoglas® RP40LT cold-end container glass coating
Tegoglas® RP40LT is suitable for coating containers that are 80°C to 150°C in temperature. RP40 coating is useful for glass container applications on either dry or wet filling lines and is generally the most versatile of Arkema's cold end coating products. Tegoglas® RP40LT improves lubricity in thin-walled, lightweight glass containers and is specifically formulated to adhere to Certincoat® hot-end container glass coatings. During transportation and handling, the lubricity added by using this coating will minimize scratches and wear marks. During washing or sterilization, containers coated with Tegoglas® RP40LT will maintain lubricity and scratch resistance.
Tegoglas® T5 cold-end container glass coating
Tegoglas® T5 cold-end container glass coating is an aqueous solution used for container coating at glass temperatures of 60-120°C. Tegoglas® T5 coating will provide very high smoothness when used in this temperature range and gives excellent dry filling scratch resistance. T5 coating is the most flexible cold-end coating for label glues, working very well with synthetics, casein, or starches.

Thioglycolic acid (TGA)
The Thioglycolic acid (TGA) also called Mercaptoacetic acid (MAA) (CAS 68-11-1) is a high-performance chemical containing mercaptan and carboxylic acid functionalities.
TGA is completely miscible in water and in general polar organic solvents. TGA is a strong reducing agent especially at high pH and forms powerful complexes with metals that give it specific characteristics. This acid is used in industries and applications as diverse as cosmetics, oil and gas, polymerization, fine chemistry, leather processing, cleaning, and metals receovery.
TH 1204
TH 1204 is used for calcium phosphate and iron oxides dispersion and inhibition such as cooling circuits with all kind of skin temperatures. It is commonly formulated with anticorrosion additives, zinc salts or phosphonates.
It's a sulfonated acrylic copolymer partially neutralised, in aqueous solution.
Being liquid, it is easy to pump and blend.
TH 146-50 AS
TH 146-50 AS is an excellent scale inhibitor at high temperature, the best anti-scaling agent to use with phosphate corrosion inhibitor.
It can be formulated with a zinc salt (ZnCl2, ZnSO4) at high concentration, with a very good stability.
Used alone or with other classic polyacrylic acids, it increases the efficiency of corrosion inhibitors.
It can also be used with high salinity waters and is a good chelating agent for Zn2+.
Being liquid, it is easy to pump and blend.
TH 322
TH 322 is an anti-scaling and dispersing agent for boilers and cooling circuits used in combination with TH 518-50 AS.
It fits with very acidic formulations and neutral or acidic formulations with zinc salts.
Being liquid, it is easy to pump and blend.
TH 418-43 S
TH 418-43 S is an anti-scaling and dispersing agent for cooling circuits.
Its application range covers many low solubility minerals (carbonates, sulphates, phosphates hydroxydes and oxydes of divalent and trivalent metals.
It is generally used in waters with pH from 5 to 9.
Being liquid, it is easy to pump and blend.
TH 418-50 AS
TH 418-50 AS is an anti-scaling and dispersing agent for cooling circuits.
Its application range covers many low solubility minerals (carbonates, sulphates, phosphates hydroxydes and oxydes of divalent and trivalent metals.
It is generally used in waters with pH from 5 to 9.
Being liquid, it is easy to pump and blend.
TH 450-50 AS
TH 450-50 AS is dispersing agent for muds in boilers and calcium phosphate.
Its application range covers many precipitated minerals such as carbonates, sulphates, phosphates, hydroxides and oxydes of divalent and trivalent metals.
Generally used in waters with a pH of 5 to 12, it acts as a dispersant and complexing agent of alkaline earth metals.
Being liquid, it is easy to pump and blend.
TH 518-50 AS
TH 518-50 AS is an anti-scaling and dispersing agent for cooling circuits.
It fits with very acidic formulations and neutral or acidic formulations with zinc salts.
Its application range covers many low solubility minerals such as carbonates, sulphates, phosphates, hydroxides and oxydes of divalent and trivalent metals.
Being liquid, it is easy to pump and blend.
Thioacetic Acid (TAA)
Thioacetic Acid (TAA, CAS 507-09-5) is an organosulfur compound with the chemical formula CH3COSH, that is mainly used as raw material in fine chemistry. TAA is the only available thioacid used for the preparation of thioesters or mercaptans.
These thioesters and mercaptans which are widely used in the synthesis of drugs.

Arkema is the largest producer worldwide of thioglycolic acid (TGA) and 2-ethylhexyl thioglycolate (2-EHTG).
Thioglycolic acid (TGA) was first developed in the early 1940s as an active material for cold wave permanents and depilatories.

THT (TetraHydroThiophene) Natural Gas odorant
THT (TetraHydroThiophene) conforms to the ISO 13734 rule for natural gas odorization.
Arkema produces THT at our facility in Lacq, France, which is located on a gas field. This location gives the site direct access to a continuous underground source of H2S – a key raw material for THT production.
We continue to develop our unique gas odorization expertise at Arkema’s dedicated R&D laboratory, where our specially trained technicians analyze the odorant’s performance characteristics.

Tertiary-Nonyl Mercaptan
TNM (Tertiary-Nonyl Mercaptan or T-Nonyl Mercaptan) is a product with distributions centered on C9 mercaptans, resulting in mercaptan functionality to your system with the addition of branched tertiary alkyl groups. To manufacture this, Arkema reacts trimer and hydrogen sulfide, resulting in mercaptans that can be utilized in a variety of applications. TNM is commonly used in coating and lubricant applications.

TPS® 20
TPS® 20 is an inactive trisulfide sulfur donor additive (20% sulfur) showing excellent extreme-pressure and anti-wear properties, practically non-corrosive to copper & compatibility with mineral, synthetic base oils and greases
