Oleris® advanced bio-materials are Carbon Neutral (ISO 14040). Cradle to gate climate change impact is climate positive with no need for carbon compensation: The biogenic (atmospheric) CO2 absorbed during the growth of the bean is more than the cumulative CO2 emission equivalents associated with the entire manufacturing process.
The use of each kilogram (kg) of Oleris® advanced bio-materials instead of a petrochemical alternative typically represents a CO2 impact savings of more than 2 kilogram (kg) equivalent.
