Opticoat® 150 returnable container glass coating
Opticoat® 150 is a high efficient masking of scuffs on returnable glass containers and improves the optical appearance of glass containers. Allowing bottles to be reused as long as they are physically sound, Opticoat® 150 container glass coating can dramatically extend service life to as many as 50 cycles and beyond. Opticoat® 150 can be applied to filled and labeled bottles without reducing filling plant speed.
Opticoat® 240 returnable container glass coating
Applied on dry or slightly wet bottles, Opticoat® 240 container glass coating solution flows into scuffing marks to form a thin masking layer restoring the glassy shine, look, and feel of the bottle. It allows to reuse bottles as long as they are physically sound. It can be applied to filled and labeled bottles without reducing filling plant speed.
Opticoat® masking coatings for returnable glass bottles
Opticoat® glass coatings are a range of proprietary wax emulsion concentrates for use on returnable glass bottles. The wax emulsion is used to apply a masking coating on glass containers. Opticoat® coating masks scuffs in glass to renew the appearance of bottles beyond 50 fills. Opticoat® coating can be applied to labeled bottles and does not slow filling plant speed.

Orgasol® Industrial Powders
Orgasol® ultrafine polyamide powders are a range of polymers and copolymers of lauryllactam (PA12) and/or caprolactam (PA6), obtained by direct polymerization.
Thanks to this process, a wide range of Orgasol® powders with a spherical shape and very narrow particle size distribution is available. The grades differ in terms of particle size (from 5 to 60 microns), specific surface area and melting-point.
Other - Bio-Based 2-Octanol
2-Octanol is a branched C8 fatty alcohol. It is directly produced from vegetal chemistry. Indeed, this biobased alcohol is manufactured through a cracking process from ricinoleic acid, major component of castor oil.
Other - Bio-Based Dimethyl Sebacate
Dimethyl Sebacate (DMS) is a dimethyl ester of sebacic acid. DMS has a vegetal origin since it is processed from castor oil.
Oxygenated solvents
Arkema oxygenated solvents are acetone derivatives widely used in many applications such as cosmetics, aromas and fragrances, agrochemicals, cleaning products, paints and coatings.
They can be used for chemical synthesis or as diluents, coupling agents or other functional additives in various types of formulations. Arkema oxygenated solvents can also be used as technical additives for concrete or mining, for flotation. They are valued for their high solvent power and their low toxicity. They can especially replace glycol ethers or chlorinated solvents.
