We provide a one-day orientation program to newly employed staff. The orientation program includes the basic knowledge needed to work at ARKEMA. The person in charge of each division will provide information regarding rules, regulations and so on. In addition to the orientation program, newly employed staff will be given opportunities to participate in other necessary training programs (on the job or off the job training) depending on your assigned post and background. There is the possibility of opportunities to join overseas training programs.

Although ARKEMA is a French company, the common language among group companies is English. For the sales post in ARKEMA Japan, even though most of our customers are Japanese companies, English is essential for the communication within the assigned business unit. We often have staff and visitors from overseas frequent our offices therefore communication in English is common in daily business life. In particular, the Kyoto Technical Center has to communicate with global R&D members, staff and trainees, proving that at ARKEMA, you can have a firsthand experience of a global working environment. In saying that, we do not expect our staff to be completely fluent in English. We believe that the most important factor is to understand conversation content accurately and to be able to express yourself clearly. As having a high level of English fluency will open up new opportunities for your future career, we hope that our staff will have a positive attitude to accept new challenges in the working environment.

The initial selection will be based on your CV. The final decision will be made after several interviews (For selected posts, there will be interviews in English.)

Only candidates who have been selected to proceed to the next step will be notified either by telephone or e-mail.

Decisions will be made by the division manager depending on the current situation.
