Effective 1st July 2017, Virginie Delcroix is being appointed Vice President Sustainable Development for the Arkema Group.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) lies at the heart of the Group’s strategy, and the societal dimension is an integral part of Arkema’s performance. Virginie Delcroix’s mission will be to ensure that Arkema continues meeting the challenges of sustainable growth, while establishing the Group as a recognized player in this field.
Virginie Delcroix, 52, holds degrees from Ecole des Mines of Nancy in Process Engineering.
She began her career as Development Engineer at 3M (1988-1990), before joining SNPE Ingénierie as Operational Safety Project Manager (1990-1995). In 1995 she became Business Engineer at LA CALHENE (now Groupe GETINGE), a company specializing in protective equipment for the nuclear and pharmaceutical industries.
In 1999 she joined NOVACEL (Groupe Chargeurs), a self-adhesive plastic film manufacturer, as Industrial Project Director (1999-2005), later becoming Technical Director (2006-2007), before taking up the post of Innovation and Marketing Director (2008-2011).
She joined Bostik in 2011 as R&D Director for Southern Europe as well as Director of the Bostik Smart Technology Center in Venette.
