Effective 1st October 2019, Béatrice Zilm is being appointed Arkema’s Financial Communication Vice President. She replaces Sophie Fouillat who, on the same date, is being appointed Corporate Economy and Strategic Planning Vice President within the Group’s Corporate Strategy Division.

Béatrice Zilm, 48 years old, is a graduate engineer from École nationale supérieure des industries chimiques (ENSIC) and also holds a degree from École nationale supérieure du pétrole et des moteurs (IFP School) - Corporate Economy and Business Administration specialization).

She began her career at Elf Atochem in 1998 where she headed Project Management and Economic Studies within the Petrochemicals business, and later in Chlorochemicals from 2001 to 2003.

In 2004 she joined Arkema Japan’s Finance Department. In 2006 she joined the Corporate Strategy Division at the Colombes headquarters, and in 2008 took charge of Management Control at the Fluorochemicals and Fluoropolymers business unit. In 2011 she was posted to the Arkema Japan subsidiary by the Finance Division to oversee financial operations in Asia. She joined the Financial Communication Division at the end of 2018.
