Kynar® resins are the material of choice for applications requiring high purity and chemical resistance.  Kynar® PVDF and Kynar Flex® PVDF can be used to manufacture processing components described in ASME-BPE such as piping, tubing, fittings, tanks and other contact surfaces requiring USP Class VI or FDA compliant materials that can also be steam and chemically sterilized, and gamma irradiated.  Kynar® polymer is particularly resistant to cleaning agents containing chlorine, bromine and ozone-based systems.  Kynar® PVDF fluid handling systems can also be cleaned in place with steam without losing performance.
