Description

ThermoGoal® products are post-chlorinated vinyl chloride polymers produced by a PVC resin mass dry chlorination process which ensures their high purity. They are used to manufacture pipes, profiles, sheeting and transparent thermoformed film.

• Good heat stability
• Excellent long-term stress resistance (creep)
• Outstanding resistance to aging from weathering or sunlight exposure
• Good impermeability to water vapor and to gases such as oxygen and carbon dioxide
• Good printing performance
• Inertia in contact with food products
• Good resistance to micro-organisms (microbes, algae and fungi)
• Excellent flame resistance: Euroclass BS1D0
• Very good electrical insulating properties
• Suitable for frequent washing and disinfection

Markets and applications

ThermoGoal® products can be processed by extrusion, calendering, thermoforming, pressing and coating. They are used in a number of markets, including construction, packaging and textile.
