Pullman Hotels, part of the Accor Group chain, has chosen Altuglas® LED System sheet for the signs that for some months have been appearing on the facades of its 200 hotels worldwide.

Altuglas® LED System is a white diffusing cast acrylic sheet that is placed over LEDs. This combination of Altuglas® sheet and LEDs makes the sign highly visible at night and ensures absolutely even illumination.  Tridonic supplied the LEDs (Light Emitting Diode) for this project.

A sign produced using sheet from the Altuglas® LED System range is environment-friendly and offers undeniable cost advantages: energy consumption is much reduced (in combination with Altuglas® sheet, fewer LEDs are used than with competing systems, for the same output).

LEDs are now becoming the new standard light source, increasingly replacing the neon tubes and fluorescent lighting formerly used for signs.
