Following the latest price trends announced by raw material suppliers, Arkema is increasing the price of its ethylene-based copolymers.

Effective July 1st 2008, the price of its entire Functional Polyolefin range marketed under the tradenames Evatane®, Lotryl®, Lotader® and Orevac® may increase by as much as €150/MT.  This latest price adjustment is necessary to reflect the historic surge in the cost of raw materials, while maintaining an acceptable margin level.
Arkema's Functional Polyolefins are used in a wide range of industrial applications, including hotmelt glues, cables, multilayer packaging films, technical polymer modification, solar panels, petroleum additives, bitumen and inks.
