Arkema announces a 14% price increase for Sodium Hypochlorite, effective January 1st 2008. The leader in the Sodium Hypochlorite market in France, the Arkema Group has based its decision on the rising costs of raw materials, energy and transport which have a particularly major impact on this type of commodity product. 

Sodium Hypochlorite is used extensively in drinking water and waste water treatment, as well as in disinfection for household use and in the food industry.
