DescriptionSARBIO® new Acrylates and Methacrylates are based on renewable raw materials. The aim of SARBIO® product range is to allow formulators to combine high quality products and high technical performance requirements along with environmental friendliness.
End-users can develop new systems with increased BioRenewable Carbon Content (BRC).
This new range includes monofunctional, difunctional, trifunctional and higher functionality monomers and oligomers. The different chemical structures (linear, aromatic, ethoxylated, propoxylated…) provide customers with a wide range of beneficial properties such as: - flexibility/hardness;
- cure speed;
- water-dispersability;
- elongation;
- adhesion.
PropertiesSARBIO® can be used as: - reactive diluents in the formulation of UV curable coatings and inks;
- chemical intermediates for polymer synthesis;
- styrene replacement for composites, electrical applications;
- coagents for elastomers.
