Description

Apolhya® is a new class of flexible nano-structured materials proposed by Arkema.

A range of Apolhya® grades is already available, based on melting temperature (from 130°C up to 215°C), melt flow index, flexibility, creep resistance, chemical resistance, etc.

Specific Apolhya® HFFR (Halogen Free Flame Retarded) grades feature excellent fire resistance properties and can be further adjusted to meet specific requirements.

Properties

• Good flexibility and impact properties
• Creep resistance up to 180°C
• Excellent ageing resistance up to 180°C
• High transparency for natural grades
• Good electrical insulation
• Good hydrolysis resistance and chemical resistance
       (to water, glycols, oil, zinc chloride…)
• Lightweight material (d < 1.0 for most natural grades,
       d < 1.1 for HFFR grades)
• Thermoplastic grades for extrusion, injection moulding...
• Etc.
