PVC / Lacovyl®

Description

Lacovyl® are mass,  suspension or emulsion polymers of vinyl chloride. They are used in plates, profiles, pipes, sheets, bottle manufacturing, paper and fabric coatings.
Lacovyl® Lucalor® is a chlorinated polyvinyl chloride manufactured by Lacovyl® chloration.

 

Properties

  • good ageing, also resistant to outdoor conditions
  • safe
  • excellent fire resistance
  • good resistance to micro-organisms (microbes, algae and fungi)
  • ability to stand up to frequent washing and disinfection

 

Markets and applications

Lacovyl® can be processed by extrusion, calendaring, blow molding, coating. It is used in markets such as building, packaging, automotive, textiles and medicine.
