Description

Plexiglas® Beads are a new line of weatherable acrylic polymers for use as matting agents in a wide variety of polymers, including PVC and ABS.  Available as Plexiglas® BS 100 and Plexiglas® BS 130 acrylic polymers, the new products consist of very fine pearls that can be blended into the polymer of choice. Their structure as very fine powders allow for homogeneous distribution and outstanding dispersion in molten polymers during processing.

The Plexiglas® acrylic polymer particles are evenly distributed at the surface of the product, imparting a high-quality textured appearance. This matte surface is in high demand in such plastic applications as low gloss siding and fence, low gloss and textured deck and railing, low gloss window shutters, frosted cosmetic bottles and other blow molded bottle applications.
