Durastrength is a range of acrylic impact modifiers that impart superior impact properties mainly to rigid PVC and engineering plastics such as Polycarbonate (PC) and PC alloys (PC/ABS, PC/Polyesters etc.). They have been designed to pass specific impact test procedures while maintaining excellent weatherability, appearance, processability and flow properties.

Markets and applications

Durastrength are recommended in tin, lead, mixed metal PVC formulations requiring resistance to room or cold temperatures. They are ideally suited for vinyl siding, doors, window profiling, cladding, pipes, fittings and conduits as well as PVC, PC and PC alloys for injection molded goods.
