DescriptionAcrylic monomers produced by Esterification.
Properties
- Addition reaction to the double bond.
- Acrylates and AA can polymerize and co-polymerize to produce acrylic resins and water-based acrylic, styrenic/acrylic or vinylic/acrylic dispersions.
- The low tg of EA, BA and 2EHA homopolymers allows for customized softness and tack.
- Acrylic acid can polymerize and co-polymerize to produce low molecular weight (dispersants) and high molecular weight anionic water-soluble polymers.
- Adhesion on polar substrate and AA can modify polymer chemistry.
