Major applications
Paints and varnishes: One among of the few good solvents for PVC. Quick dissolution of resins in low
viscosity solutions. Excellent anti blush properties.
Coatings : Drums inner coatings.
Chemicals synthesis: Manufacturing of ketones, glycol ethers, MIBK, MIBC , DIBK.... Perfume and
fragrance intermediates.
Agrochemicals: Preparation of concentrated solutions of herbicides, fungicides with can be emulsified
and diluted with water.
Pharmaceuticals: Synthesis of Vitamin C derivatives (ascorbic acid esters....)
Others: Dyes. Floatation agent. Peroxyde manufacture. Paints stripping.
