Paints, inks and varnishes: Co-solvent for water based paints, and solvent in oil based & glycerophtalic
paints used to increase the drying time.
Chemical synthesis: Used on polyurethanes formulations to increase the polymer molecular weight.
Cosmetics: Synthesis of intermediates in perfume industry. Viscosity agent additive. Registered on the
INCI (International Notification Of Cosmetic Ingredients).
Detergents, Lubricants: Synthesis of intermediates in the manufacturing of additives.
