Major applications
Paints and varnishes: With it's powerful solvent action, DAA is used in small amounts (1 to 2%) in
alkyd,glycerophthalic, epoxy, acrylic and vinyl based paints and varnishes. Easer application by brush
and improves film tension after drying. Co-solvent or/and coalescing agent in water-based paints.
Coatings: Tail solvent used in high dry solid formulations. Wood lacquers.
Chemicals synthesis: Extraction solvent to purify resins , waxes and to separate hydrocarbons.
Perfumes and fragrances - Cosmetics: Synthesis of captors in the perfume and fragrance industry.
Others: Pesticides formulations. Cleaning and dewaxing agent for metal, rubber rolls, glass fiber
reinforced plastics.
