Rilsan® Clear Benefits: Stress Cracking Resistance

Last generation of Rilsan® Clear demonstrates much better chemical resistance than previous generations of transparent polyamides.  Environmental stress cracking resistance (ESCR) is an excellent indicator of chemical resistance.  The plot and photo below show the resilience of Rilsan® Clear against alcohol attack.

Samples were immersed under stress and severe conditions : pure solvent during 22 hours at 23°C (ISO 4599)
