Orgasol® in Composites and Structural Adhesives

Orgasol® can help avoid delamination in interlayered carbon fiber/epoxy composites and improve strength in structural adhesives.

Crack propagation at the epoxy resin/carbon fiber interface reduce strength of fiber-reinforces laminates. To solve the problem, Orgasol® can be used as a toughening agent to limit the crack propagation in the resin inter-laminar region and at the epoxy resin/carbon fiber interface.

Due to its narrow and controlled particle size distribution, Orgasol® also maintains the thickness of the inter-laminar region during the process that builds the composite structure.

Orgasol® also halps limit cracks propagation in the structural adhesive improving their mechanical strength.

Structural adhesives also take advantage of this Orgasol® property that copes with cracks propagation.

Recommended grades: 1002 D NAT1 and 2002 D NAT1
