Sheets are used in the manufacture of “compote” type pots, thermoformed trays, packaging for salads, fresh pasta, etc …

Depending on final application, key requirements will include:

 

 

High barrier to oxygen, gas or aromas
High barrier to water
Stiffness
High sealability or peel-seal ability
Resistance to radiation sterilisation or pasteurisation
Transparency
