Forane® 22

Forane® 22 is gaseous at atmospheric conditions. Forane® 22 has a low thermal conductivity and has good solubility in polyurethane chemicals. The high solubility in polyurethane chemicals allows for high loading levels in B-side blends while allowing these blends to be stored and transported in standard drums and processed using standard equipment. A high level of Forane® 22 can be used in b-side blends pressurized containers. The Forane® 22 has a low ODP of 0.055 and is nonflammable. Foams produced with Forane® 22 have very good properties in comparison to Forane® 141b.
