Manufactured and Marketed Products

Acrylic monomers, marketed under the Norsocryl® brand, are used to formulate flocculants, dispersants, detergents, paints, inks, glues and adhesives, plastics, acrylic fibers and products for the leather and paper industries.

The cationic acrylic monomers marketed under the Adame®, Adamquat® and Madquat® brands are used as dispersants and flocculants in water treatment.

Specialty acrylic monomers, marketed under the Norsocryl® brand, are widely used in coatings, paints, glues, adhesives and inks and to formulate a large number of polymer materials.

Diacids, primarily phthalic anhydride, are used to make polyester resins and alkyls for paints and varnishes, to produce phthalate plasticizers and in the construction, automotive and food industries.

Oxo alcohols, mainly butanol and 2-ethyl hexanol, are used to make acrylic esters, formulate lubricants, plasticizers and diesel additives and in paint and varnish applications.
