03/11/2011
Press Release
In order to cope with the high continuous rise in acetone cost since January, Arkema increases the price of its Oxygenated Solvents range by 200 €/T, in addition to the price announcement in December.
This will be implemented in mid-March 2011. The main products concerned are Diacetone Alcohol (DA), MethylIsoButylKetone (MIBK), MethyIsoButylCarbinol (MIBC), Hexylene Glycol (HG) and Isophorone (IPHO).
These products are widely used in many industrial applications in fine chemistry as much as in formulation.
Since the MEK shutdown end 2009, La Chambre plant is confirming its commercial development with its 2 product lines : amines and ex-acetone oxygenated solvents.
