Globalization of AES / Coatex portfolio to the Coatings market in North America

Cary, N.C. and Chester, S.C. – July 8, 2010 – Arkema Emulsion Systems has been chosen to represent Coatex thickeners and dispersants in North America. The agreement calls for Arkema Emulsion Systems to provide sales representation in the coatings market in North America. Additionally, Arkema Emulsion Systems will work closely with Coatex to provide product stewardship and application technical service in the selected markets.

The announcement was made jointly by Coatex and Arkema Emulsion Systems, both part of Arkema.

The product lines represented by Arkema Emulsion Systems are designed to help formulators meet the latest formulating standards, including low VOC, APEO free systems.
