Arkema announces the sale of its Higher Methacrylates business

In the scope of the restructuring of its methacrylics activity, Arkema has reached an agreement with Evonik for the sale of its Higher Methacrylates business
This Higher Methacrylates business concerns n-butyl methacrylate, i-butyl methacrylate, 2 ethyl hexyl methacrylate and dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate (MADAME®).
These monomers are mainly used for the production of paints and coatings, as well as for the water treatment.
